- Where it gets stuck
- Consultants, fund selectors and institutional investors each send their own RFP or due diligence questionnaire, in their own format, on the same strategy, team, investment process, risk management and ESG policy. A product specialist copies answers from past responses, chases the portfolio manager for the paragraphs that changed and checks every figure against the latest data, and the consultant database updates wait behind it.
- What the workflow does
- Each question is matched to the approved answer in your library (Loopio, Responsive or a SharePoint folder) or to the most recent response that used it, with the date and the source shown next to it. Figures are pulled from the latest approved data set, never typed in. Questions with no approved answer, or whose answer is older than the date your compliance team sets, are flagged for the portfolio manager. Compliance approves the final document, and new answers go back into the library once approved.
AI in asset management
A consultant’s due diligence questionnaire is due on Friday, two hundred questions long, and most of the answers already sit in last quarter’s responses.
We draft the answers from your approved library and past responses, and compliance approves every document before it leaves Outlook.
Three jobs around the portfolio still run by hand in most boutique asset management firms: answering RFPs and due diligence questionnaires, writing the monthly factsheet commentary and the quarterly investor letter, and preparing institutional and distributor meetings. AI Jungle installs these workflows in your existing CRM, answer library and portfolio data, nothing reaches an investor without the approval of the portfolio manager and of compliance, no portfolio data is pasted into a public chat tool, and investment decisions, performance figures and every compliance sign-off stay with your team.

Where can AI save an asset management team time every quarter?
Each comes back every month or every quarter, relies on documents and data the firm already holds and ends with a decision by the portfolio manager, the client director or compliance.
Every questionnaire starts again from last quarter’s answers
The factsheet waits on the manager’s commentary every month
- Where it gets stuck
- Performance and holdings are ready a few days after month-end, then the factsheet waits on a paragraph from the portfolio manager explaining what drove returns, and the quarterly letter takes a week of the manager’s evenings. Each fund and share class repeats the exercise, and compliance reviews it all against the same rules every time.
- What the workflow does
- A first draft of the commentary is written from the attribution report, the month’s trades, the market notes the team already writes and the previous commentaries, in the fund’s house style, with each statement linked to the number it relies on. The portfolio manager rewrites what needs judgment, and compliance checks the draft against your marketing rules before it goes to the factsheet and the website. The quarterly letter is prepared the same way, from three monthly commentaries and the manager’s notes.
Investor meetings are prepared from five systems the night before
- Where it gets stuck
- Before a review with a pension fund, an insurer or a distribution platform, someone pulls performance since the last meeting, checks the mandate guidelines, rereads the notes of the last meeting and the questions sent since, and builds the pack. After the meeting, the follow-up and the CRM note slip to the next week.
- What the workflow does
- A meeting pack is prepared from the CRM, the portfolio data and the inbox: performance and positioning since the last meeting, the guideline checks, the questions the investor raised and the commitments made last time, each linked to its source. After the meeting, the follow-up email and the CRM note are drafted from the client director’s notes, and the client director approves both before anything leaves.
Which flow should you start with?
Three questions take about a minute, and the answer points to one of the moments above, or to a smaller step when a workflow would be too much.
Answer the three questions to see where to start.
This is an exercise: nothing is sent when you use this selector.
Do we have to change our CRM or our RFP software?
No. The workflow reads the CRM, the answer library, the portfolio data and the documents your firm already keeps, prepares a draft and puts it back where your team works, once the portfolio manager or compliance has approved it.

Three conditions before anything acts
Your existing tools
The workflow runs inside the tools you already pay for, with the access rights they already have, so the team keeps its usual screens.
A named person approves
Every draft waits for a named person. Nothing goes out in the firm’s name without that approval, and exceptions go back to a human.
Every step leaves a trace
Sources, drafts, corrections and approvals are recorded, so you can see why an output was prepared and improve the next one.
The path from here: three steps
The free Leverage Scorecard
You fill it in online, without a call. The result shows at once, and only the detailed report asks for a work email.
A 30-minute call
You tell Loïc Guyon, the founder, where the time goes, and together you see whether a workflow is worth testing.
The Leverage Assessment, $999, excluding tax
A review of where you stand today and where AI can help, in two 45-minute sessions with a written report between them. If it is useful, we test one or two workflows on your own examples, anonymised or invented when the data is sensitive. The fee is deducted in full if you continue to a build, with no obligation to build. It is invoiced by AI Jungle LLC, a US company.

Before you decide, your product specialist marks our work on one of your own past questionnaires
AI outreach case study: Asia-Connect. In 3 months of production use: 755 executives contacted, a 24% reply rate, 139 qualified meetings booked, 90 of them held, and 0 messages sent without the partner’s approval.
“In the last three months, the agent helped me to book more than 90 qualified meetings with executives I would never have had time to reach, and I approved every single message before it went out. It works while I am in meetings.”
During the Assessment we answer one due diligence questionnaire you have already returned: you send the blank questionnaire, your answer library or two earlier responses and that quarter’s data set, under a confidentiality agreement signed first, with investor names replaced by codes. We return the answers we would have drafted, each with its source, and the questions we would have flagged. Your product specialist marks each answer right, missed or wrong in about an hour, and you keep that result whether or not you go ahead. Approval works the same way in production: at Asia-Connect, an executive search firm, the partner approved every message before it went out. Read the case study
Questions asset management founders ask before a call
Where does our portfolio and investor data go?
Holdings, investor names and questionnaire answers are confidential by default, and many questionnaires come under a non-disclosure agreement with the investor, so processing stays in the European Union whenever your mandates or those agreements require it. No portfolio or investor data is pasted into a public chat tool. The workflow reads only the systems, mailboxes and folders you name, and any step your compliance officer judges incompatible with your investor agreements stays manual.
- Your data is hosted in Germany, on Hetzner, and none of it is used to train a model.
- If you have a constraint such as professional secrecy, sensitive data or a contractual requirement, processing stays in the European Union; otherwise we choose, for each task, the model with the best price-to-intelligence ratio, and you get the provider and the place of processing in writing before it reads anything.
- A data processing agreement is signed before anything is set up or sent, including for the workflows tested during the Assessment, and you receive the written list of the systems that will read your data.
- Your installation is kept separate from every other client’s.
- Everything is yours, your data and everything produced for you: at the end of the contract you receive a full export, then all of it is deleted from our systems.
- A person approves everything before it is sent, and you can refuse any step, which then stays manual.
Which asset management firms is this for?
Independent and boutique asset managers and fund managers, from a single strategy to a few funds, selling to institutional investors, consultants and distribution platforms, where product specialists, client directors and portfolio managers still answer questionnaires, write commentaries and prepare investor meetings themselves. Firms advising private clients will find their own page under wealth management.
We already use Loopio or Responsive. What do you add?
Keep them: they hold the answer library and find matching answers well. The workflow adds what sits outside the library: figures checked against the latest approved data set, answers older than your review date flagged, the paragraphs that changed chased from the portfolio manager, and the same sources reused for the factsheet commentary and the meeting packs.
Can you connect our CRM, portfolio system and data providers?
Salesforce and Dynamics 365 offer API access, which the workflow uses with your own access rights. Holdings, performance and attribution usually come by export from your portfolio management or performance system, and data from Bloomberg or index providers is used only within what your licences allow, which is checked before anything is built. The Assessment lists any step that stays manual.
What should we start with?
Usually due diligence questionnaires: they come back every quarter, your past responses already hold most answers and a product specialist sees at once whether a draft is complete and right. Use the selector on this page, then bring one past questionnaire to a 30-minute call.
Does this change who is responsible for what we tell investors?
No. Investment decisions, performance figures and compliance approval stay with the portfolio manager, the firm and its compliance officer, under the marketing rules your regulator applies (the SEC Marketing Rule in the US, the FCA’s financial promotion rules in the UK, ESMA’s guidelines on fund marketing communications in the EU), which is why nothing reaches an investor unapproved. Every draft keeps the sources it was built from, which helps compliance when a document is checked. The contract sets out in writing what AI Jungle answers for, and we give you wording to check with your professional indemnity insurer.
How much does it cost?
The Leverage Assessment costs $999, excluding tax, and the amount is deducted in full if you continue to a build. It is invoiced by AI Jungle LLC, a US company. The Leverage Scorecard is free, and the full path is described above.
In 30 minutes, we pick the past questionnaire we will work on in the Assessment.
If you book the Assessment, you send that questionnaire, two earlier responses and the quarter’s data set, with investor names replaced by codes, under a confidentiality agreement signed first. By the end of the call you know what to send and when you get the result back.
